Obituary

IIT Guwahati expresses deep sorrow at the passing of Professor Mahuya De, a distinguished academic and cherished member of the institute community.

Professor De was widely respected for her excellence as a researcher, her dedication as a teacher, and her kindness as a mentor and colleague. She made meaningful contributions to her field through her scholarship and touched countless lives through her patient guidance, intellectual generosity, and compassionate presence.
