IIT Guwahati Joins National Workshop on Internationalisation Frameworks at IIT Madras

Dr. R. K. Mittal, Faculty Coordinator (International Relations), ACIR, represented IIT Guwahati at the National Workshop on Internationalisation Frameworks across IITs, held on 22–23 June, 2026 at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. 

The workshop brought together representatives from several IITs to deliberate on strategies for strengthening internationalisation within the IIT system. Participating institutes included IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Indore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Tirupati, IIT Palakkad, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati among others. The event provided an important platform for sharing institutional experiences, exchanging best practices and discussing collaborative approaches to enhancing the global engagement of IITs.
